Does Apple Music have a DJ like Spotify?
No. As of October 2026, Apple Music has nothing that talks to you between your own songs the way Spotify's DJ does. It has three things that come close: AutoMix, which blends one song into the next; live radio stations with human hosts; and Siri, which can answer a question about an artist and then play their music.
None of the three hosts the music you chose. That is the gap Vibes fills: a DJ for your Apple Music, on iPhone.
We make Vibes, so this is the maker's answer. Every row in the table links to Apple's or Spotify's own page, so you can check each one.

More questions, answered.
Is there a Spotify DJ for Apple Music?
No. Spotify's DJ works inside Spotify and plays from Spotify. If you listen on Apple Music, the closest things are AutoMix, Apple Music radio and Siri, or an app such as Vibes that adds a DJ to your own music.
Does Apple Music have an AI DJ?
Apple doesn't offer anything under that name. AutoMix blends songs without a voice, and Siri answers questions when you ask. Neither one hosts your music from song to song.
What is AutoMix on Apple Music?
AutoMix is Apple Music's way of moving from one song to the next without a gap. It picks a transition to suit the two songs, from a simple fade to a fuller blend. It is on by default from iOS 26, and you can change it on iPhone in Settings, under Song Transitions in the Music settings.
What is DJ with Apple Music?
It is for people who mix. DJ with Apple Music lets DJ software and hardware, such as Serato, AlphaTheta and djay Pro, play songs from Apple Music. It does not host your own listening.
Is Apple Music radio free?
The six live stations are, once you sign in with an Apple Account. Stations built around a genre or an artist need an Apple Music subscription.
Is Vibes an AI DJ for Apple Music?
Yes. Each break is written fresh for the song you are hearing and spoken in a natural voice. When it tells a story about the record, the story comes from facts it has looked up. It remembers what it has said to you.
