What is Vibes?
Vibes is an iPhone app that gives your Apple Music a DJ. You make your own DJ, or pick one of ours, and it plays your music, tells you the story behind the songs and learns what you like. It is free to download.
Does Apple Music have a DJ?
Not for your own music, as of [month]. Apple Music has live radio shows with human hosts, AutoMix to blend one song into the next, and Siri to answer questions about an artist. Vibes adds a DJ that plays songs from your own library and talks between them. The full answer, with sources.
Do I need Apple Music?
Yes. Vibes plays music through your Apple Music subscription and has no music of its own. If you don't subscribe yet, Vibes shows you the Apple Music sign up, with whatever free trial Apple offers.
I use Spotify. Can I use Vibes?
Vibes works with Apple Music only. In many countries Apple has a tool that copies your playlists across from other services, so you can bring your music with you.
Is Vibes an AI DJ?
Yes. Each break is written fresh for the song you are hearing and spoken in a natural voice. When it tells a story about the record, the story comes from facts it has looked up. It remembers what it has said to you.
Will it talk over my music?
Only to say hello. A Vibe greets you as the first song starts, then speaks in the gap between songs. Most breaks are under ten seconds.
Does it work with my phone locked?
The music keeps playing with your phone locked. Your DJ talks while Vibes is open on your screen.
How much does it cost?
Vibes is free to download, with [which Vibes are free] and all your music. Vibes Plus is [price] a month and adds [what Vibes Plus holds]. You buy it in the app and can cancel any time in Settings.

How do I cancel Vibes Plus?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Vibes Plus. Apple manages the subscription, so it can only be cancelled there.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for anything bought on the App Store. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I have a new iPhone. How do I get Vibes Plus back?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Vibes and tap Restore purchases, on the Vibes Plus screen or in Settings.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings in the app and tap Delete my data. It removes everything tied to your phone from our server at once. Our technical log is kept for 14 days, then deleted.
